PtrRecord

Enables you to manage DNS PTR Records within Azure DNS.

Example Usage

using Pulumi;
using Azure = Pulumi.Azure;

class MyStack : Stack
{
    public MyStack()
    {
        var exampleResourceGroup = new Azure.Core.ResourceGroup("exampleResourceGroup", new Azure.Core.ResourceGroupArgs
        {
            Location = "West US",
        });
        var exampleZone = new Azure.Dns.Zone("exampleZone", new Azure.Dns.ZoneArgs
        {
            ResourceGroupName = exampleResourceGroup.Name,
        });
        var examplePtrRecord = new Azure.Dns.PtrRecord("examplePtrRecord", new Azure.Dns.PtrRecordArgs

PtrRecord Resource Properties

To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Programming Model docs.

Inputs

The PtrRecord resource accepts the following input properties:

Records List<string>

List of Fully Qualified Domain Names.

ResourceGroupName string

Specifies the resource group where the resource exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

Ttl int

The Time To Live (TTL) of the DNS record in seconds.

ZoneName string

Specifies the DNS Zone where the DNS Zone (parent resource) exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

Name string

The name of the DNS PTR Record.

Tags Dictionary<string, string>

A mapping of tags to assign to the resource.

Records []string

List of Fully Qualified Domain Names.

ResourceGroupName string

Specifies the resource group where the resource exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

Ttl int

The Time To Live (TTL) of the DNS record in seconds.

ZoneName string

Specifies the DNS Zone where the DNS Zone (parent resource) exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

Name string

The name of the DNS PTR Record.

Tags map[string]string

A mapping of tags to assign to the resource.

records string[]

List of Fully Qualified Domain Names.

resourceGroupName string

Specifies the resource group where the resource exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

ttl number

The Time To Live (TTL) of the DNS record in seconds.

zoneName string

Specifies the DNS Zone where the DNS Zone (parent resource) exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

name string

The name of the DNS PTR Record.

tags {[key: string]: string}

A mapping of tags to assign to the resource.

records List[str]

List of Fully Qualified Domain Names.

resource_group_name str

Specifies the resource group where the resource exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

ttl float

The Time To Live (TTL) of the DNS record in seconds.

zone_name str

Specifies the DNS Zone where the DNS Zone (parent resource) exists. Changing this forces a new resource to be created.

name str

The name of the DNS PTR Record.

tags Dict[str, str]

A mapping of tags to assign to the resource.

Outputs

All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the PtrRecord resource produces the following output properties:

Fqdn string

The FQDN of the DNS PTR Record.

Id string
The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
Fqdn string

The FQDN of the DNS PTR Record.

Id string
The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.

Look up an Existing PtrRecord Resource

Get an existing PtrRecord resource’s state with the given name, ID, and optional extra properties used to qualify the lookup.

public static get(name: string, id: Input<ID>, state?: PtrRecordState, opts?: CustomResourceOptions): PtrRecord
static get(resource_name, id, opts=None, fqdn=None, name=None, records=None, resource_group_name=None, tags=None, ttl=None, zone_name=None, __props__=None);
